Family Centre Under Threat

St Mary’s Family Centre, (Our Lady of Fidelity, Central Hill, Upper Norwood, SE19) is under threat of closure.
Parents are utterly dismayed to learn that a grant of £50,000 from the London Borough of Croydon will no longer be given to the nursery. They find it impossible to understand why a facility like this, which provides such a high quality service to so many families is being jeopardised. The last 3 OFSTED reports the nursery has had have judged the nursery to be outstanding.
Andrew Pelling is lobbying for this centre to be kept open.
This is an example of the local Conservative party cutting Croydon public services when it proclaims to be capable of speaking up for defending local services in our community.
